Portable Lighting Systems 1030

The RovyVon A1 packs a punch by delivering 650 lumens in a very small package. While there are other more powerful flashlights on the market the A1 is though to pass up for the following reasons. First the size, as advertised this light is about the size of a AA battery. This makes it a true option for EDC. Throughout the course of the day The Professor clipped the A1 in his pocket right next to a pocket knife and never once noticed it. Second reason to give this little powerful flashlight a chance is sheer light projection. For such a small light that 650 lumen rating really makes all the difference. One item of note however was the temperature of the lens, be aware that it gets very hot.

Notes For The Final Exam

  • Price - normally the A1 can be picked up for less than $35 ... well worth it.
  • Size - its not often items are true to size based on product listings but the A1 is truly compact.
  • Design - The Army Green color is the Professors favorite, but watch out for the clip it seems to get caught up easy when removing or placing in pockets.
  • Note the USB - C needed to charge the A1 is not included ... would have been nice.
Overall Grade B+
The overall grade of a B+ is well warranted. A great light to toss on a keyring or in your pocket The professor would highly recommend.
