Library Science 1050

Today's product review is a little different. The Professor tends to focus on everyday carry items that will make your life easier in an emergency. This got the Professor thinking once you are prepared and riding out say a natural disaster, there maybe long tracks of boredom or just the need for a bit of distraction during trying times.  A book is the perfect item to toss in your EDC kit. The Lost City of the Monkey God by Douglas Preston is an amazing read especially for adventure minded people. The Professor has read this book multiple times and each time gets lost in the pages. A true modern day Indiana Jones that takes place in the jungles of central America. Based on a legend that has been told since the Spanish first arrived in the new world this story has it all.  A perfect read for anyone looking for a slice of excitement in their day to day.

Notes For The Final Exam

  • A read for anyone - This book is a great read for anyone in your family, makes a great gift!
  • Length - The pacing and length of the book are just right. A little over 10 hours as an audiobook
  • Story - Overall this book feels like 2 stores in one. Covering the legend and then the modern day expedition.
Overall Grade A+
It's not often a book is so good the Professor reads it twice or more. This book is riveting and will make you want to go out and find adventure for yourself. Do not pass this book up!
